This site is about an old village in the mountains of west Turkey, near the town of Bursa. It is preserved without many modern additional concrete or brick houses. It has been documented since 1989 and the process of integration has been studied.
The report is set up in 5 chapters:
1- the village, history and its buildings
2- the village houses
3- the ways houses collapse and the contribution to archaeology
4- what happens next to the village?
5- a 'word of thanks' and photos to honor the men and women of Findicak!
Chapter 1 has been published here , chapters 2, 3 and 4 are 'under construction'.
I hope it will be interesting, useful and pleasant to see and read....
